I decided to take my little one to Bridgeport Village today, where within walking distance are stores like Crate and Barrel, The Container Store, Anthropologie, Z Gallerie, Urban Outfitters and Oblation Paper. There are others, but when the stores open at 10 and you have a baby with you, you can only manage a select few. I first perused UO, where I picked up the peacock dish and squirrel pillow on sale. Then Anthro where I mostly window shopped, but did talk myself into a sugar bowl and E monogrammed mug. Then Oblation Paper, where the little one started to get fussy. Doh! I picked up a sheet of gift wrap anyway and then zoomed around Crate and Barrel before heading back to the car.
Anyway, here are my finds:
We have a wild peacock that lives in our neighborhood, so this little guy isn't just a decor item—he holds special meaning. Plus he holds my rings. (On sale for $9.99, was $16)
My little woodsy, crafty, feminine squirrel pillow may end up in the baby's room. (On sale for $9.99, was $32)

After loving him for months, I purchased this guy for my kitchen. He brings instant charm to the space. LOVE him the best. Extremely cute in person! ($18)
I couldn't resist adding a new mug to my collection. Love typography as a graphic designer, and love the feminine feel this mug has. ($6)
